LAUNCH COMPLEX "A", SARY-SHAGAN ANTIMISSILE TEST
CENTER SUGGESTS TWO DIFFERENT MISSILE CONFIGURA-
TIONS. THE SINGLE STAGE MISSILE WITH SHARPLY SWEPT-
BACK DELTA WINGS IDENTIFIED AT TALLINN WILL HENCE-
FORTH BE DESIGNATED "PLRS-SERIES 1;' THE MISSILE
WHICH APPEARS TO HAVE A CLUSTER OF LARGE BOOSTERS,
AS SEEN AT LAUNCH COMPLEX "A", SARY-SHAGAN ANTI-
MISSILE TEST CENTER, WILL BE DESIGNATED "PLRS-SERIES 21.'

PRELIMINARY ANALYSIS REVEALS A MISSILE ON A LAUNCHER
AT LAUNCH POSITION C-5. THE MISSILE IS A SINGLE STAGE WITH SHARPLY SWEPT-BACK
DELTA WINGS SUGGESTING A POSSIBLE DUAL BURN SOLID OR A VARIABLE THRUST LIQUID
PROPELLANT MISSILE, IF THE MISSILE IS COMPLETE AS SEEN ON THIS MISSION. NO
CANARD-LIKE FEATURES CAN BE DETECTED ON THE MISSILE. MENSURAL ANALYSIS OF THE
MISSILE REVEALS THE FOLLOWING APPROXIMATE OVERALL LENGTH:35 FT, FORWARD
AND LENGTH OF DARK NOSE SECTION: 5 FEET.
