This has a whiff of deja vu about it. We had a similar
letter about 6 months ago from someone who similarly
brought to our attention a dictionary (Soviet minorities,
I think) with the strong suggestion that we might feel
impelled to help pay for publication.
The purpose of these letters is left rather vague. He
wants suggestions, he sgys.
Our response to the last such suggestion was to say that
while we were not in a position to support such a project
financially, we'd be happy to buy a copy when it was
published.
Question here also,is: How unique is this? Do we have
