Following up our conversation in Hong Kong, I have looked into the
question of your continued employment. We would indeed be pleased to
have you continue working as an editor here after your return from Hong
Kong, on a full-time basis.
It would appear that the best procedure is to continue your
full-time contract until you are on duty here. We can at that time
consider converting you to full-time Staff, but that will depend on how
long it appears you will be in Washington and what your husband's assign-
ment will be.
It was nice talking with you in Hong Kong. Let~me know by message
when you get further information about your travel plans or your husband's
assignment.
