purposes we ve assigned it o ection Requirement No. 82-20.
This rescinds FBIS Collection Requirement No. 80-12 dated 14 August 1980
on the same subject. Intelligence consumers who were interviewed
preparatory to revising this collection plan called FBIS reporting
"excellent" and said it has been "invaluable" on the issues of Soviet
military policy and doctrine. 25X1
2. FBIS considers these firm requirements calling for the fullest
possible response. You should use this plan as a guide to selection,
processing, and publication of relevant material. 25X1
3. Because of the sensitivity of this plan, we are unable to
provide an unclassified version of the collection objectives for use by
foreign national employees in the bureaus. Bureau chiefs should ensure
that staff editors are fully conversant with these requirements but
should carefully protect this document. F--]
