Thank you for your 17 April letter inquiring about a subscription
to the FBIS Daily Report. Gratis subscriptions to FBIS publications
are provided only to the offices of agencies and departments of the
U.S. Government with foreign affairs functions. The Federal Prison
System of the Department of Justice does not qualify under this standard.
U.S. Air Force Reserve intelligence units qualify for subscriptions
mailed to unit headquarters. The request should be submitted to
FBIS by the unit commander along with his certification that the
material is necessary to fulfill the unit's mission.
