REFERENCE: Your Memorandum, dated 20 January 1982, Same Subject
Attached is a potential topic for study by the panel for
Summer Studies. This question is closely related to several FBIS
initiatives planned for FY-1984. If data communications could be
used to transmit printed material cost effectively, particularly foreign
language publications, many of FBIS' traditional methods of processing
foreign printed material could be very greatly improved.
