SUBJECT CIA Support to NIESO
1. I am reviewing the support that CIA furnishes to the National
Intelligence Emergency Support Office (NIESO), an organization external
to CIA with its own program and budget. To assist me in this review, I
-request that you provide me with a brief summary of the support you-are
furnishing to NIESO currently or have been asked to provide..
2. NIESO has been tasking individual Agency components directly
for support. I request that, in the future, you refer new requests to
of the Planning Staff for coordination and staffing within
the- Agency; serves as CIA member of the NICEP, the Community
body responsible for overseeing NIESS developments.
