2. When approved, she will speak at the SHARE 60 Conference in San
Francisco, California on February 23rd. She will also chair two meetings at
the same conference. She will be attending the conference as a representa-
tive of the Agency and she is serving as Deputy Ma M/System
Management Project within the SHARE or anization. has been STAT

Agency's interest. The audiences are expected to be comprised of about 400
persons from the United States and Canada representing organizations
running large IBM computers. The meetings will be held in the San Francisco
Hilton Hotel; the risk to employee safety is minimal. Members of the press
are barred from attending sessions at this conference.
3. None of the material to be presented is classified or controversial.
She will present a tutorial describing techni ues of test' operating systems
software. As a senior systems programmer, is qualified to give STAT
the presentation. Her remarks will be extemporaneous; the outline is
attached. She will also chair two meetings:
a. VM/System Management Project Working Session. Requirements for
enhanced facilities to control access to data in large-scale, interac-
tive computing systems will be discussed.
b. More on VM Paging. A comprehensive analysis of storage manage-
ment techniques for interactive computing systems will be presented.
The speakers will be computer performance analysts from IBM Corpo-
ration .
