SUBJECT : Store Theft
1. After hours on the 20th of March, 1,975, a routine
stock straightening was made of the sale merchandise lo-
cated on the shelf next to the record department. At that
time, it was determined that we had two (2) KODAK Pocket
Instamatic Cameras, Model A50 on the shelf. The deter-
mination was proved as to the daily posting of the sale
item sheet posted on the wall inside the entrance to the
store. The value of these cameras is: $69.64, each.
It was discovered this morning (21. March 1.975) after opening
the store at 1000 hours one of the two cameras was missing.
2. A call was made to the accounting department to
ascertain the correct number of cameras on hand. That
number was supposed to be six (6). A count was then made
and determined that we only have five (5) on hand. It
is supposed then, that one (1) KODAK Pocket Instamatic
Camera, Model A50, valued at $69.64 has been stoleZ from
the sale shelf area on this date.
3. A copy of this memorandum will be forwarded to
the accounting department for adjustments to the control
sheets for inventory purposes A copy will also be sent
the Security, ATTN: as per their instructions.
