AUTHORITY The Security Advisory Group, USSR (SAG) was establis-'red with the endorsement of members of the Security Committee o January 24, 1979. Security Committee memorandum SECOM-D-43:= applies. The mission of the SAG is to advise and-assist the Security Committee and the Department of State in, deve--' loping the security policies and procedures to protect U.S. personnel and installations in the U.S.S.R. 2.
