25X1A9A On 3 May,I Acting Director of Logistics (AD/L),
hosted a meeting with two representatives of Civic
Association to discuss mutual concern regarding the street parking
25X1A6A problems at the F_ I The AD/L started the meeting by
giving a brief overview of the parking situation on the compound area,
the problem the Agency was having with keeping employees from parking
on the streets, and some of the short and long term solutions the
Agency is presently studying to alleviate the problems. The represen-
tatives of the Civic Association stated that they wanted to assure the
Agency they were not there to register a complaint but, instead, appre-
ciated the opportunity to discuss their concerns, i.e., blocking the
mailboxes which prohibits citizens from getting their mail, and the
safety problems that are associated with street parking. Overall, the
meeting went very well with both groups obtaining a better
understanding of each other's problems and agreeing to keeping an open
dialogue in finding a solution.
