1. New communications requirements for the Office of
Logistics (OL) during the time frame PY 1983 - FY 1987 are
attached as requested. Two of the requirements associated with
the Logistics Integrated Management System overlap requirements
previously submitted in November 1979.
2. The consolidated submission of new communications
requirements by the DDA in December 1979, contained an Office
of Data Processing (ODP) requirement to increase overall data
transmission capabilities. The majority of OL requirements are
predicated upon enhancing data transmission capabilities across
the board. From that point of view, we want to ensure that our
requirements are incorporated in the Office of Communications/
ODP planning.
