The green and black line telephone equipment presently
installed, and the one data terminal, to be installed in the
near future, are sufficient for our communications support
requirements, insofar as we can determine at this time. We
foresee no additional requirements and if a reduction is
possible the Office of Communications will be notified
promptly.

New Communications Support Requirements for
FY 1980 - 1984 (U)
1. (U) The Office of Communications (OC) has requested
up-to-date information regarding future requirements for com-
munications support for fiscal years (FY) 1980 through 1984.
While reviewing your requirements and preparing your response,
please include the following information:
a. (U/FOLIO) Requirements for secure voice, data,
facsimile, and record communications. It would be help-
ful to OC, in preparing detailed cost estimates, if the
specific locations and other related information are
identified.
b. (U) Identify services now received which can be
eliminated or reduced. If a reduction is possible,
please indicate to what extent.
r. (U) In those cases where precise forecasts are
not possible this far in advance, please indicate the
number of various types of activities and the general
geographic locations.
2. (U) It is also requested that the requirements which
you previously provided for the period FY 1979 - 1983 be care-
fully reviewed and that any changes be thoroughly annotated in
your submission.

established as the Office of Logistics focal point for subject
requirements, and has been designated as the

more timely and better defined communications requirements than
