SUBJECT: Proposed Copyright Laws
1. The Printing and Photography Division (P$PD)
has reviewed the proposed changes to copyright laws
on sound recordings as detailed in H.R. 997 and H.R.
237. We are of the opinion that the revisions would
not impact the Division to any significant degree.
2. We are interested in the version of the laws
as they are finally enacted and we would appreciate it
if you could arrange for us to have copies.
