1. The attached draft dissertation by Hr. Thomas W. Scoville
was submitted via the office of the Adjutant-General,
Department of the Army (DI-.AG-AMR) , for security classifica-
tion r.evriew.
2. Review to date indicates that there is no objection by
the Army, the Central Intelligence Agency, or the Organiza-
tion of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to declassification of
this document. However, additional review by the Department
of State was recommended.
3. For your information, we have been advised that the autho
no longer intends to include the Amnex C ("Selected Fey
Document") mentioned in the table of contents.
4. Your response by 30 April 1976 would be appreciated.
5. Without attachment, this memorandum is UNCLASSIFIED.
