offer any review recommendations on the two documents covered by your
subject request based on the abstracts alone. We would appreciate
your obtaining the documents theitt;elves for our review.

In order to satisfy the terms of EO 12065 DAAC-AMR-D has been
engaged in a massive declassification staffing action of all the
US Army originated documents still held in the Defense Technical
Information Center that are more than 20 years old. Among the
US Army~'proponents assisting in this effort is Dugway Proving
Ground.`
Dugway has reviewed the documents and has requested that we`-staff-
them and forward to CIA for review because they appear to be based
on information taken from the National Intelligence Summaries pub-
lished by your agency.
We would like you to review the abstracts for declassification. If
you need the documents, they can be ordered from DTIC directly or
we will assist you in obtaining them if you will call us.
Please return the attached abstracts to us. In any correspondence
or telephone calls, please refer to the case control number which
appears on this letter and on the abstracts.
