I am forwarding 36 documents or port__ons of documents
(200 pages) requested by Dr. Richard A. Hunt for his review
on the Vietnam War Pacification Proqram. These documents
were selected by Dr. Hunt during his recent research visit
to the LBJ Library, Austin, Texas and are released for his
use in the Vietnam War Pacification Program.
The usual caveats concerning CIA review prior to
declassification, downgrading, or publication of material
from CIA originated documents in any UNCLASSIFIED publica-
tion apply.
A copy of this communication has been sent to Martin
I. Elzy, Archivist at the LEJ Library and to Mr. R. A.
Jacobs, Acting Assistant Archivist for Presidential Libraries,
NARS.
