1. Forwarded herewith ii the most recent set of galley proofs
received from State for review. All are intended for the Atomic Energy
Section of the Series for 1948.
2. Bernie Drell has set this up with precis in an effort to make it
as easy as possible for the reviewers. His memorandum explaining what
he has done is included in the folder. Even so, it will be a lot of work
for someone.
3. It will be appreciated it the review could be completed by 24
November. Also, our preliminbiy look at the material indicated OSI
is the only component of the Agency which have an interest to protect.
If. in your judgement, there are other components with an interest,
please advise.
