ExDir-Compt circulated a draft memorandum on the
subject of bxfox management of information processing
in carrying out a request by the DCI that he take steps
to strengthen the coordination and mgmt of information
processing activities.
It called for various studies to clarify roles and responsi-
bilities for ADP support to production, to investigate
cost effectiveness, and revision, if necessary, of the
IPC mechanism to strengthen the ADP coordination procedures.
The PPB, assisted by the Information Processing Staff,
was made responsible for these matters by the ExDir/Compt.

Users' Group for OCS Interactive Services
On 6 Oct 69 OCS Interactive System scheduled to
offer on-line services as a production service (rather
than as the previous Test mode).
A bi-weekly forum was condhcted prior to readiness date
for users/to discuss problems for mutual benefit.

system users at meeting of 15 Oct 1969.
Assignment of hardware resources was to be managed by the
Interactive Systems Administrator, Opns Div., OCS
