SUBJECT CONFERENCE REPORT; "THE CIA AND ITS
ANNUITANTS"
1. The Center for the Study of Intelligence sponsored
a Conference on the CIA and Its Annuitants on 7-8 December
1982. The primary objective of this conference was to
provide a forum for free discussion of issues of concern to
the Agency and to permit the participants to explore some
of the more important dimensions of these issues.
2. A summary of the comments made by the participants
is forwarded for your information and for distribution to
other Agency officials with an interest in this topic. It
is emphasized that the conference report does not attempt
to establish an Agency position on these issues, nor does
it necessarily reflect a consensus of all of the participants.
It is a summary of their discussions.
