1. Your approval is requested to reprogram $182,000 of
Office of Logistics funds within the Real Estate and Construction
Division (RECD) FAN 78-1125 (Engineering Support - Recurring
Reimbursables) from SOC 2501 to SOC 2358. This reprogramming
is necessary to provide funds to support FY-1984 rental and
maintenance costs for the Computer Assisted Design and Drafting
System (CADDS) being used by Logistics Services Division, the
New Building Project Office, and Real Estate and Construction
Division. This rental contract is funded for $290,000 in FY-1985,
but unfunded for FY-1984.
2. The funds to meet this immediate and "hard" requirement
will be derived from RECD's engineering maintenance, repair and
renovations allocation. As the budget execution progresses,
appropriate changes will be made to this FAN/SOC as required by
the requested reprogramming.
