Thank you for your letter supporting the Presidential initiative
for government workspace management reform and for your remarks
concerning sensitivity of certain space information relating to
your agency. It is encouraging to hear that the Central
Intelligence Agency is already close to the space utilization
goal.
GSA agrees that it is not appropriate to disclose detailed space.
information which might compromise your agency's mission. We,
therefore, welcome the opportunity to discuss specific space
management information on a classified basis. Your
representative should contact Mr. Arthur 0. Barton on 535-8120 to
make the necessary arrangements for the briefing. For your
information we have enclosed a copy of the space initiative kit
previously forwarded to Mr. Harry E. Fitzwater, Deputy Director
for Administration, on July 28, 1983.
