This refers to your memor4ndum of September 23, 1983, concerning the work
space management plan of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
In your letter of August 8, 1983, it was indicated that CIA representatives
would be glad to discuss any aspects of agency data orally with the General
Services Administration's personnel on a classified basis.
In our response of September 7 responding to CIA's request for an
exemption based on national security reasons we agreed to a meeting
between our representatives to discuss the extent of CIA's participation
in this Presidential space reduction initiative. A copy of that letter
is enclosed. We are waiting to hear from your representative when this
meeting will take place.
