SUBJECT: Acquisition of Office Space FY-1983
1. This memorandum is submitted at your request to ensure
the Office of Logistics policy for leasing real property during
the remainder of f FY 83 is precisely consistent with DDA and DDCI

(RECD) to acquire the following two parcels of rental space:

feet. All of this space was acquired under three separate

RECD to proceed with this 5,000 additional feet since it
was funded for and approved by the DDA for acquisition in
FY-83, memorandum of 17 January 1983 is attached. I believe
that the Goldwater/Moynihan limitation on additional leased
space for CIA does not apply to the Intelligence Community,
since it has a separate budget, and the Office of Logistics
simply assists them with professional expertise in acquiring
the lease.
