1. I have reviewed the Office of Data Processing Strategic Plan
FY 1984-1993 and commend your goals "to provide all agency employees
access to secure and cost-effective ADP and office automation
services" and to continue as a "leader in the introduction of new
information systems technology."
2. I agree with your assessment of key trends. We certainly do
see a continuing growth of information needs in a changing
environment. I am, of course, interested in your objective to
expedite systems development and I wish you early success with that
one.
