. 1. I call your attention to the referenced notice
establishing the OC Management and Liaison Staff. One of my
objectives in establishing this Staff is to get a better handle
on the various requirements that are being levied on OC,
prioritize them and better direct our reactions to them.
As an OC representative among our customers, each of you is in
a special position to gather some of these requirements and to
observe and influence how we react to them. I expect that
there will be close and frequent contact between you and the
members of the Management and Liaison Staff
2. To enhance this goal, to give you better access to
OC's current activities and to assure greater consistency
among OC's external elements, I am designating Chief, Management
and Liaison Staff as your primary point of contact with OC
Headquarters. This is not intended to change either your chain
of command or your access to me but it is intended to provide
you a specific office in OC which will be knowledgeable end
aware of your activities, accomplishments and problems.
