Approved For Release 2002/06/18 : CIA-RDP85G00105R000100130026-2 ORANDUM FOR: Special Assistant to the DPI for Special Projects SUBJECT: The Inspector General's Survey of Foreign Intelligence Collection Requirements 25X1A8A 1. 0 concurs in the comments and recommendations in the referent 10 March memorandum, with the single reservation noted below. 2. Regarding combined recommendations No. 8 and No. 26, 25X1A8AParagraph 2, =considers that both this Office and its Agency consumers could benefit by its representation in the Collection Guidance Advisory Croup. Such representation appears important if the Group is to serve as an effective means of improving communications between the originators of requirements and those whose function it is to fill them. Occasional invitations to representatives of collection activities may not suffice to establish the kind of communications between substantive offices and collectors re::wrrnended in the Principal Findings of the IG study. 25X1A9A I 25X1A Approved For Release Deputy Director
