Dear Mr. Casey:
My letter of January 4, 1983, invited your participation in hearings
before the Program and Budget Authorization Subcommittee and provided a
schedule of all the Subcommittee's hearings on the FY 1984 intelligence
and intelligence-related budget proposals. This schedule of hearings was
later amended on February 8.
Unfortunately, conflicts have again arisen between some of the
Subcommittee's scheduled hearings and other congressional activities. The
Subcommittee, therefore, has been forced to reschedule intelligence or
intelligence-related hearings on March 24, April 6, April 14, and April
28. A new hearing date, April 7, has also been added. The attached
schedule reflects these changes.
The Committee regrets any inconvenience these changes may cause and
will try to limit further changes.
