3. Review of Production Enhancement Initiatives
The Committee reviewed the benefits of ongoing Production
Enhancement Initiatives at the request of the Intelligence
Producers Council. WSSIC generally concurred with the written
assessments of the sponsors of the initiatives. However,
several members expressed concern that there was a general lack
of knowledge in their offices about these initiatives. The
Committee agreed that it should receive periodic briefings on
the status of selected PEIs so that the Community would be
better informed the program and a better review would be
possible.
