At its initial meeting, the executive board for this group will consider broad goals and policy objectives. It is unlikely that you will be called upon to discuss specific procedures for implementing a narcotics interdiction system on US borders. We recommend that you attend to learn the role of other agencies and how the Intelligence Community may assist. 2. If you are asked for a specific commitment, you may wish to indicate that intelligence can be provided on drug production centers and major trafficking routes.
