PRESIDENT'S FOREIGN INTELLIGENCE ADVISORY BOARD

Dear Bill,
Once again, I want to thank you so very much for taking time to
talk to the Board. We all appreciate it knowing that there are
many other demands on your valuable time. Of course, and as I've
mentioned before, your presentation is invariably the highlight
of our meetings.
I am especially glad that you were able to stay for our discussion
on Leo's project. I agree that it is very important that we
handle this subject properly and in a timely manner. Bob Gates
comments were very helpful and provided added insight on some of
the more difficult problems.
All in all, it was a great session. We were also gratified that
John McMahon accompanied you for part of the session since we had
not seen him for some time.
I wish you all the best and look forward to our continuing work
together.
