1. The PFIAB will convene again on 12 January 1983. As in previous
sessions, the DCI is scheduled to present his "world" briefing. Your support

2. The DCI's briefing book for these occasions is constructed in three
parts:
a. The World Situation--to be prepared jointly by the CIA's
Intelligence Directorate and the National Intelligence Council. (Your
recommended inputs, if any, are invited.)
b. This section will include items of particular interest or concern
to each NFIB member organization--items that you recommend the DCI bring
to the Board's attention.-
c. This section will include a summary of briefings (and other
interactions, if pertinent) presented by each NFIB organization to the
