SUBJECT: Request to Participate in the
Ambassadorial Seminar, 17 May 1983
1. An Ambassadorial Seminar is scheduled for Tuesday,
17 May 1983 in the DCI Conference Room. Thirteen newly appointed
Ambassadors and three State Department officers will receive
briefings from the ADDO and his staff from 1600-1800.
2. Following the briefings, the guests have been invited
for cocktails, dinner, and informal discussion in the Executive
Dining Room from 1800-2000.
3. You are invited to join this group at 1800 hours for
cocktails, dinner, and discussion. The guests will appreciate
the opportunity to meet you and to discuss mutual concerns. Such
contacts will be most useful for our Chiefs of Station in the
field who will be working closely with these Ambassadors.
4. Prior to the Seminar, we will forward a list of the
Ambassadors, the Department of State officers, and the CIA
officers who will attend.
