Active Measures
At Friday's DDCI/Eagleburger meeting State
gave John McMahon the attached advanced copy of
a letter. It requests preparation by 1 April 1984
of an IIM on Soviet Active Measures to update the
last IIM on this topic. The signed copy of this
letter is to follow in formal channels. Please
prepare a response for the DDCI's signature and
initiate appropriate actions requested in the
letter.
