Thank you for your recent letter requesting a speaker
for the Law Course at Jefferson Davis Sr. High School in
Houston.
Mr. Casey has asked me to convey our regrets. The
Agency does not have a speakers bureau per se. Due to a
shortage of manpower, plus the increasing demands on our time
in other areas, we have had to cut back on many of our
publicly-oriented programs. Consequently, will not be able
to assist you at this time. As a matter of policy, we do not
brief high school groups. You might wish to contact us when
you are at the college level.
Enclosed for your interest and information is our
brochure Intelligence: The Acme of Skill and the Fact Book.
We certainly wish you every success in your Law Course,
and hope that you will be able to find an appropriate guest
speaker. Perhaps the FBI would have this service.
