In view of showing to public opinion in the world and in the United States the total determination of the Vietnamese people to maintain its own struggle for Peace, Freedom, and Human Dignity, The National Support Movement for the Resistance in Vietnam will host Dai Hoi Chinh Nghia, a World Conference to be held April 28th to 30th, 1983, in Washington, D.C. The Conference, expected to gather more than 2,000 delegates of Vietnamese communities all over the world, will also be attended by representatives of active resistance movements from Afghanistan, Angola, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. We would be most honored by your presence at the Conference's closing Plenary Session, which will take place at the Charles E. Smith Center of the George Washington University on April 30th, 1983 from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This. Plenary Session is open to the public and will be addressed by international speakers of note. The Front's platform was adopted and promulgated in 1981. Finding its inspiration from the National United Front, The National Support Movement for the Resist- ance in Vietnam made its first appearance the next April in Arlington, Virginia, USA. Since its official launching, the Movement has spread to all parts of the world. The World Conference, to be held from April 28th to 30th, 1983 in Washington, D.C., will aim at consolidating the organization of the Movement, joining forces with other friendly resistance move- ments, and demonstrating to world public opinion that the Vietnamese people is determined to protect its unalienable right to Freedom and Dignity. The World Conference, expected to gather more than 2,000 delegates from more than 90 local chapters all over the world, will be open to the public on its closing day. Foreign guests from Europe, Japan, and the United States will be in attendance.
