-DAI HOI CHINH NGHIA
The National United Front for the Liberation of
Vietnam was founded in the "maquis" of Vietnam on
April 30, 1980. The Front's platform was adopted
and promulgated in 1981.
Finding its inspiration from the National United
Front, The National Support Movement for the Resist-
ance in Vietnam made its first appearance the next
April in Arlington, Virginia, USA. Since its official
launching, the Movement has spread to all parts of
the world. The World Conference, to be held from
April 28th to 30th, 1983 in Washington, D.C., will
aim at consolidating the organization of the Movement,
joining forces with other friendly resistance move-
ments, and demonstrating to world public opinion that
the Vietnamese people is determined to protect its
unalienable right to Freedom and Dignity.
The World Conference, expected to gather more
than 2,000 delegates from more than 90 local chapters
all over the world, will be open to the public on its
closing day. Foreign guests from Europe, Japan, and
the United States will be in attendance.
