SUBJECT: Fourth Intelligence Community Legal Conference
We are currently planning our Fourth Intelligence
Community Legal Conference which is scheduled for 23 through
25 May 1983 and would like to invite you to
participate on e evening of Monday,--23 May.
As in the past, I have invited the general counsels and
senior attorneys from various Intelligence Community elements,
as well as senior officials from the Department of Justice.
In the past this conference has provided a special forum for
the discussion of topics of mutual interest, and in my view
has contributed to an improved understanding by the Department
of Justice of the Community's unique legal problems. I very
much would like to have you participate on the first evening
.of the conference if your schedule permits.
