This follows my letter of 21 July to invite you and those from
your office you deem appropriate to meet with me on Tuesday, 2 August,
at 10:15 a.m., here at CIA Headquarters. This meeting will explore
ways the Community can cooperate to reduce the devastating effects
unauthorized leaks are having on national security and the
Intelligence Community's intelligence assets. I plan to describe
further my thoughts on this subject and will seek your advice and
comment.
I would appreciate your letting the Director of my Public Affairs
Office (Lavon B. Strong, 351-7676), know who will attend as soon as
possible and not later than noon, Monday, 1 August.
I look forward to discussing this vital concern with you on 2
August.
