1. SIGNIFICANCE: THIS MISSION PROVIDED COVERAGE OF MOST OF THE
AREAS ASSOCIATED WITH KAMPUCHEA RESISTANCE ACTIVITY IN WESTERN
KAMPUCHEA.
2. REMARKS: GIANT SCALE MISSION GS-372 PROVIDED COVERAGE OF
APPROXIMATELY 50 PERCENT OF KAMPUCHEA WEST OF THE 105 DEGREES
EAST LONGITUDE. THE COVERAGE PARALLELED ROUTES 5 AND 6 FROM
THE THAI-KAMPUCHEA BORDER TO PHNOM PENH, AND SOUTH TO THE
COAST. APPROXIMATELY 35 PERCENT OF THE IMAGERY WAS CLOUD
COVERED. THE AREA FROM THE THAI-KAMPUCHEA BORDER TO THE EAST
END OF THE TONLE SAP WAS CLEAR. THE AREA FROM THE EAST END OF
TONLE SAP TO THE COAST WAS SCATTERED TO HEAVY CLOUD COVERED.
