DEL NORTE CRUISE MISSILE SITE ARE OCCUPIED BY
ONE PROBABLE AND ONE POSSIBLE SPOON REST
ACQUISITION RADARS. THESE RADARS ARE PROBABLY
ASSOCIATED WITH A BAR LOCK RADAR AND A ROCK
CAKE OR STONE CAKE RADAR AT SANTA CRUZ DEL NORTE
AW RADAR FACILITY 2 LOCATED 1,450 FT WSW. THE
PRESENCE OF THESE RADARS IN THE SANTA CRUZ DEL
NORTE VICINITY AUGMENTS CUBA'S AIR WARNING
CAPABILITIES. SANTA CRUZ DEL NORTE CRUISE
MISSILE SITE WAS ACTIVE UNTIL PHOTOGRAPHY OF

OBSERVED. ON A POSSIBLE SPOON REST
RADAR WITH GENERATOR VAN WAS OBSERVED IN THE
WESTERN LAUNCH REVETMENT.
+. IMAGERY ANALYSIS: THE TWO REVETTED LAUNCH POSITIONS AT SANTA CRUZ
DEL NORTE CRUISE MISSILE SITE HAVE BEEN RECON-
STRUCTED AND ARE NOW DRIVE THROUGH-TYPE REVETMENTS.
A PROBABLE SPOON REST RADAR AND CAMOUFLAGE
NETTING WERE OBSERVED WITHIN THE WESTERNMOST
REVETMENT, AND A POSSIBLE SPOON REST RADAR WITH
A GENERATOR VAN WERE OBSERVED WITHIN THE OTHER
REVETMENT ON NONSTEREO PHOTOGRAPHY OF
AND STEREO PHOTOGRAPHY OF
THESE RADARS ARE PROBABLY ASSOCIATED
WITH THE RECENTLY ESTABLISHED SANTA CRUZ DEL
NORTE AIR WARNING RADAR FACILITY 2 AT 23-08-55N
