SIGNIFICANCE: EXTENSIVE DAMAGE AT POL STORAGE FACILITY. 2. LOCATION: AL LADHIQIYAH PETROLEUM PRODUCTS STORAGE AND PUMPING STATION HIMSKK IS 2.4 NAUTICAL MILES NORTH OF LATAKIA AT 35-32-16N 035-46-28E. 3. MISSION READOUT : NINE POL STORAGE TANKS WERE BURNED OUT AND DESTROYED AT THE STORAGE FACILITY. FOUR PROBABLY RUPTURED STORAGE TANKS WERE ALSO OBSERVED. THE REMAINING ELEVEN STORAGE TANKS APPEARED TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION.
