SUBJECT : TDY Request
I have been invited to speak to the Warsaw
Pact Strategy, Planning and Operations Advanced
Course at the Army War Colne on ti May 1983 on
the subject of Warsaw Pact mobilization and
reinforcement. I plan to draw principally upon
our completed IIM on Soviet forces readiness and
our forthcoming work on NSWP ground and air
forces. Request approval for this travel.
Also, I would like to alert you to a
possible requirement to travel with the DCI to
Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, where he has been
i nv- a ok 25--January. I should know
next week whether he plans to go and if he
wishes for me to accompany him.
