SUBJECT: Request for OP Data Base Information
1. The following information is requested to allow OP/HRPS to
perform modeling in support of OP efforts to analyze proposed
changes in Agency retirement factors.
a. Please provide the number of FY 82 Agency retirements.
It is requested that these retirements be divided into
subcategories, CS and CIARDS, into five-year age groups and into
Career Panels. The Career Panels should be accumulated into Career
Services and these into Agency figures.
b. Please provide a projection of the number of employees
who will qualify for retirement by 1 October 1983. It is requested
that these retirements be divided into subcategories, CS and CIARDS,
into five-year age groups, and into Career Panels. The Career
Panels should be accumulated into Career Services and these into
Agency figures.
2. Please contact me to clarify details concerning the
organization and format of the requested information.

SUBJECT: Request for OP Data Base Information
1. The following information is requested to allow OP/HRPS
to perform modeling in support of OP efforts to analyze
potential promotional headroom and to evaluate the impact of
proposed changes in Agency retirement factors.
a. Please provide the number of GS and SIS grade
gains and losses for FY 82. The numbers should be organized by
subcategory within Career Panel. They should also be
accumulated into Career Services and the entire Agency. It is
requested that the information be divided by grade and show
beginning and ending FY 82 strength, gains during FY 82, losses
during FY 82, and promotions from FY 82 grades.
b. Please provide the number of FY 82 Agency
retirements. It is requested that these retirements be divided
into GS and SIS grades, subcategories, CS and CIARDS, and into
Career Panels. The Career Panels should be accumulated into
Career Services and these into Agency figures.
c. Please provide a projection of the number of
