SUBJECT: DDS&T EOD's for FY 1983
Biweekly Periods 23 Through 26
1. On 16 August 1983,1 (DDS&T/PO) met with C/SPD and
C/HRPS to discuss FY 1983 and FY 1984 manpower requirements. During
the last two biweekly FY 1983 periods, DDS&T anticipates an increase
in net outflow of 11 and wished to increase their EOD's by the same
amount. The C/SPD agreed to allow the DDS&T to schedule 11 more
EOD's providing the DDS&T/PO monitored and approved all manpower
Gains and Losses. It was agreed that the DDS&T/PO would sign all
Directorate strength actions for the remainder of FY 1983 and that
the overall Directorate targets would be:
= Biweekly net losses for periods 23/24 (August)
= EOD's for periods 23/24 (August)
= Biweekly net losses for periods 25/26 (September)
= EOD's for periods 25/26 (September)
2. It was also agreed that the DDS&T FY 1984 manpower model
'would be redone to reflect as much front-end loading as possible, to
provide some retroactive relief for FY 1983 shortfalls. It was
understood that budgetary adjustments and Agency strength levels
would impact on this modeling effort.
