1. We are presently gathering materials to be included
in the publication DDA Exchange which is distributed to our
Directorate careeriiis and?Others la the metropolitan area
on a quarterly basis. In the past, we have had a senior
official of the Agency or this Directorate contribute the
lead article, "Comment." Serie who have written for the
iixchanr-e. include Admiral Turper, Dr. Bowie, Messrs. lush,
'CMahon. and Dirks.
2. In view of the important contribution made by your
Office to the overall effectiveness of Agency activities, we
would be pleased if you would prepare the "Comment" article
for our next issue. We would like to suggest that your
article address the Agency's grievance system and the involve-
ment of your Office in the grievance process. If you accept
this invitation, may we have your permission to use your
portrait with :Om article? The manuscript for the July 197S
issue should be submitted to the Managing Editor,
iteadquarters by 9 June 1973.
