SUBJECT: Monthly Report for March 1982
1. During the month of March, Panel D had two resignations
and two transfers, but had three EOD's, offsetting the loss.
However, the Panel remains eight understrength. Panel N had two
resignations, but gained one EOD, which leaves the Panel one
understrength.
2, The twenty retired individuals hired on contract for the
completed the project and were processed out.
3. C/OC-HRMD and the SSA/DCO were on a trip to AFCA, EUCA,
and MENCA during the month.
4. Twelve Panel D and three Panel N personnel provided a
total of 341 workdays of OSG TDY assistance in March. As of 26
March, FY-82 underlaps total 7,111 person-days or 19.5 person-
years. Panel N underlaps for the same eriod total 4,971
5. C/OC-HRMD/PAB/RDS and C/OC-HRMD/PAB provided a briefing
on FLSA to OC/DND management on 30 March. Numerous questions
were raised and answers were provided. It is anticipated that
the resolution of all FLSA discrepancies will be accomplished by
person days or 13.6 person-years.

6. The Office recruitment requirements through 31 December
1982 were formulated and forwarded to OP/SPD.
7. In the domestic area, there are presently 46 vacant
positions in Panel D and 12 vacancies in Panel N.
8. At the end of March, CTB had 128 students in training.
Of this number, 115 were living on base. A MAINS briefing was

SUBJECT: Monthly Report for March 1982 (U)
given to the TCA Class 1-82 by FND/OSS/NS on 04 March. The
briefing is part of the administrative portion of the TCA course.
A meeting was held on 18 March to discuss Base and Field training
for TCA Class 1-82. Due to the large number of students in this
class, it may be necessary to conduct the Base training in
shifts, as well as run the COMEX on a 24-hour, three-shift basis.
