SUBJECT: Weekly Staff Notes, 24-28 September 1984
1. Year-end funds of $2.5M were received from the
Comptroller. The funds will be used for SKYLINK with a
payback in FY-85.
2. The FY-84 budget was closed out with a non-personal
services balance of $3K. PRA end-of-year balances have not
been determined pending contract updates.

5. attended the NCS Council of Representatives
Meeting on 27 September at the Department of Agriculture in
Washington, D.C.
is investigating the feasibility of interfacing a CXK-307 high
speed reader/punch with the ICT to provide paper tape capability
6. An OC/IMS Working Group met on 26 September to decide

7. The CRAFT Program Office did a study to determine the
approximate amount of time s ent in support of CRAFT by OC
personnel in non-CRAFT positions. For FY-84, we
conservatively estimate that figure to be 28,906 hours, or
13.9 man-years. This estimate does not include time donated

with NSA regarding the remaining CY-84 deliveries to insure we
receive adequate units each month.
