This letter has reference to your memorandum of May 16, 1972, containing
recommendations for improving Agency procedures under the National Environmental
Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA).
As you know, we are presently involved is formulating appropriate relations
pursuant to the provisions of the NEPA, relevant Executive orders, and the Council's
guidelines.
You may be assured that the recommendations contained in your memorandum
will be reviewed and incorporated into these regulations as appropriate.
