SUBJECT : Meeting with DD/OSI 25X1 A9a
25X1A9a 1. was very interested in the progress being made
on planning added facilities at the Headquarters site. However,
he does not believe that OSI will be an undue burden in planning
these new facilities. OSI has very few special purpose requirements,
although they are involved to a de,?ee in computer work.
2. Much of the unique eflort of OSI, which might otherwise
call for laboratory facilities and special equipment, is carried
out through the channel of contracting; with outside organizations
for the special support required.
25X1A9a 3. - sits on the CIA personnel board and has been in
the Agency many years. He is Toarticularly aware of shifts of func-
tions and office reorganization. He has offered to be of any as-
sistance should the BPS choose to call upon him. He and
??r. Chamberlain, D/OSI, will be prepared to nominate an OSI/BPA
when called upon to do so.
