a 10 percent solution of I. In combined w1ministra-
'Llons; of imotonic solutions of NaC1 and 1, the ab-
morl3tion of I increased significantly, while the
absorption of C1 ceased. In combined administra-

solution of 1. the absorption of I and C1 inczeased.
An especially large increase in the absorption of
C1 and I occurred after combined administrations of
RaCl solutions and a 10 percent I solution. When
the glucose solution was administered in coribination
with a. peptcne solution, the glucose tboorption de-
creased.
